Eagles’ Nest Vineyards Merlot

This wine showcases a burgundy red colour. The nose offers gorgeous ripe berry fruit aromas, complemented by nuances of dark chocolate, tobacco and subtle spice. These flavours carry through to a medium bodied pallet, where it is further complimented by flavours of mulberry, violets and some savoury nuances. The tannins are soft and beautifully integrated, balanced by delicious freshness on the finish. The Little Eagle Range is proudly associated with the Western Cape Raptor Research Programme, whose activities include conservation of the last breeding pair of Black Eagles’ located in the Table Mountain National Park. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of these wines goes towards this cause.
